FILM MORBID
You wake up in a small and messy room. There's a storm raging outside, with the lightning illuminating a projector in the middle of the room. You investigate the projector, which surprisingly is still equipped with a film reel. You get it going, but you're not sure if that was the best decision...
Film Morbid is a game made by Point Vertex, during the 8th Black & White game jam. The development of the main game took 10 days.

AMAZING concept !! Very unique and the black and white definitely add a nice touch to it. I totally overlooked the fact that you can pause the tape, that's my bad. I had a great time with it still. Great job !

I love escape rooms so this was right up my alley. Slightly annoying to have to wait for the film to loop but it's not that big of a deal. Film itself had it's creepy moments (mainly that cursed clown) and for some reason I got jumpscared by a wall. I don't understand why either. Overall, great little short experience. It's the first game I play in this video in case anyone's interested in watching.
A very nice and short and creepy puzzle game, with great atmosphere.
Sometimes you need to wait for the right image to appear on the screen, but other than that was it a great 10 minute experience!
short and sweet, straight to the point. easy puzzles. a little bit too dark for 1 puzzle, but doable. nice atmosphere.

i really liked the style but i wish it was more difficult, it would be cool if u made a longer version with more complex puzzles and some backstory !

You really should make the mouse sensitivity adjustable. As it is currently my fiance and I found it nearly impossible to play, and ended up moving on to something else after awhile since the sensitivity made it so difficult to navigate or do much of anything.
Hi, sorry about that. You can press P to bring up the settings. Over there you can change the sensitivity with the scroll wheel.

Beat the game and I really enjoyed it, but I'm confused on one aspect. I managed to beat the game without using the phone at all. I solved the bookcase puzzle by sheer dumb luck and I'm not sure if that had anything to do with the phone puzzling being skipped.

Same here. I figured that there's logic in the amount of symbols and it was the least amount I think. I checked the phone too because I didn't know it's the hint system and not a puzzle actually :D

I'm not a puzzle buff at all, but this game's got so many things going for it. The story line is marvelous. The setting breathtaking [although all rooms are in one] and the plot stunning.
As icing on the cake, everything is done and executed extremely well. I'll give you guys a 10 out of 10.
